Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am premiered on January 27th, 2019 at The Sundance Film Festival. After a theatrical run, the film aired on PBS and Hulu. It's currently on Netflix. Distribution partner is Magnolia Pictures.

Laverne Cox The Trans List Photos at The Dorsky Museum, New Paltz, NY The Samuel Dorsky Museum at SUNY New Paltz presented “Timothy Greenfield-Sanders: The Trans List,” an exhibition featuring 40 portraits and a film. Anastasia James curated the exhibitions and programs. The exhibition ran from Aug. 29 through Dec. 9, 2018, in The Dorsky’s Morgan Anderson and Howard Greenberg Family galleries. A public opening reception was held on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 5–7 p.m.
Trans List in Norwegian Museum
The Trans List at Haugar Vestfold Kunstmuseum, Norway Hope you speak Norwegian Tvillingbroren som ble søster. Serien som han har kalt The Translist (2016), er en oppfølger til et konsept han startet med for 11 år siden med The Black List, The Latino List, The Out List og The Women’s List, som alle spiller på en form for etnisk og kjønnspolitisk klassifisering av mennesker. En av personene han har fotografert til The Translist, er Nicole Maines. Nicole fikk navnet Wyatt da hun ble født som tvillingbroren til Jonas i 1997, men allerede som fireåring spurte hun foreldrene om når hun kunne bli jente. Over the last decade, Greenfield-Sanders has been at work on The List series, an interlinked portfolio of extraordinary, large-scale portraits that explore race, gender, class, sexuality and ethnicity. And for the first time ever, Greenfield-Sanders’s full portfolio of List photographs are on display together, in a new exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography.
