Robert Rosenblum, the legendary art historian, died on December 7th, 2006. I first photographed Robert in 1982 for my Art Critics series. Robert was a dear friend. His influence on the “art world” was immeasurable. Last spring, between chemo treatments, Robert interviewed me for my Leverkusen exhibition cataogue. (I will post this text as soon as possible). Robert’s last curation, “Best In Show”, the history of the dog in art, is currently on view at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. I urge everyone to read about Robert in the days to come.
